This is Michael Mikula’s signature body of work. Each thematic glass element is hand blown - formed in hand carved graphite molds, cut apart and polished - then composed and placed into custom fabricated brushed and anodized aluminum and stainless steel armatures.

Horizontally formatted sculptures have acrylic or metal risers.
Vertically formatted sculptures have a metal base.
All works are one-of-a-kind, signed and dated.

In this new piece Michael layers and sections his characteristic mold blown, cut and faceted, glass forms. Each section features a stunning occuli.

The glass forms are firmly adhered to an anodized aluminum and stainless steel framework, that in turn is mounted to acrylic footers. Moon Temple is displayed on an additional custom pedestal in this image.
